BREAKING NEWS:Jamie Carragher made a shocking statement.....

Jamie Carragher amazed £35m Liverpool player wasn’t taken off vs Luton Town
Jamie Carragher has questioned why Alexis Mac Allister was taken off early for Liverpool against Luton Town.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Premier League fixture, the pundit was puzzled why the Argentine international wasn’t substituted despite being on a booking and enduring a tough game.
Carragher said: “I’m surprised Mac Allister is still on the pitch with that yellow card, with where he is in midfield you’d really be worried about him making the challenge.”
The midfielder has yet to really find his feet at Liverpool since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer in a £35m deal.
And it’s easy to see why Carragher wanted to see Mac Allister come off early for Liverpool, with the midfielder enduring a rough game at Kenilworth Road against Luton.
Indeed, the Argentine’s display against Luton this weekend was disappointing, to say the least. And Jurgen Klopp arguably made the right call in not taking Mac Allister off first.

With Mac Allister now set to serve a suspension due to picking up five yellow cards in the premier League already, questions will be raised over the Liverpool midfielder in the coming days.
The 24-year-old has flipped-flopped greatly with Liverpool since joining the club this summer, and few fans will be pleased with how Mac Allister performed against Luton.
It’s clear that the midfielder is yet to find his true role under Klopp, and something needs to be done soon if Mac Allister is to thrive at Liverpool.
