Roma Considering Transfers for Belotti and Bove Amid Interest from Como and Premier League Clubs
Roma might part ways with two players: Andre Belotti and Edoardo Bove. Como is interested in Belotti, while Bove has received offers from Premier League clubs. Belotti has returned to Roma after an underwhelming six-month loan at Fiorentina, who did not have an option to buy him.
According to Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), Roma and Como have agreed in principle on a €4.5M fee for Belotti, but he prefers to wait for offers from bigger clubs. Even if the deal with Como falls through, Belotti is unlikely to stay at Roma.
Roma also needs to decide on Bove’s future. Bournemouth and Everton are keen on him, with his valuation between €18-20M, according to Sky (via Tuttomercatoweb). Leeds United would have been interested if they had been promoted. Bove is open to moving to England, and both Bournemouth and Everton have connections to Roma, with Bournemouth hiring their former director Tiago Pinto and the Friedkin family in advanced talks to take over Everton.
Belotti, who didn’t work with Daniele De Rossi for long, may need to join a smaller club like Como if no better offers materialize. Despite not being a full-time starter, Bove is a valuable player for Roma, and a sale could be very profitable if the offers are high enough.
