Palace for Life celebrates record-breaking Marathon March fundraiser – News – Crystal Palace F.C

Palace for Life Foundation and Crystal Palace supporters have raised a spectacular record total in the seventh annual Marathon March!

The six previous years the March has been running have seen the Palace community come together to raise over half a million pounds to change the lives of young people in the local area, particularly the most hard-to-reach and hard-to-help.

That fantastic work has ratcheted up another notch this year, with a record 200-plus runners taking part – combining to raise an all-time high total of….

This remarkable total breaks the previous all-time Marathon March record of £101,256, set in 2021.

But donations remain open until the end of the month, and your generosity shows no signs of slowing – so please help us to extend this year’s record even further: please click here to donate now!
The Foundation’s biggest event of the year has once again raised scores of money to help transform the lives of young south Londoners by putting fundraisers through their paces – a 26.2-mile walk around south London!

Each year, the Marathon March brings together Palace fans, legends and supporters to generate funds for the Foundation’s variety of inspiring projects and causes.

The friendly, non-competitive event is open to anyone who’s up for the challenge – and marks a unique chance to talk all things Palace with like-minded people, making new friends and meeting club legends, such as – this year – Andrew Johnson, Mark Bright and, all the way from Los Angeles, Ezzie Izzard.

WHY DONATE?
Growing up in south London has never been tougher, but the Palace for Life Foundation are in a unique position to drive positive change.

The Foundation use the power of sport to change the lives of young people within our community, particularly the most hard-to-reach and hard-to-help. They work in schools and the community, with extra focus on those not in education, training or employment, those caught up in the criminal justice system and those with disabilities, physical and mental health challenges.

South London is a diverse community with hundreds of thousands of talented young people who, given the right opportunities, will contribute so much to the future of our city. Your donations will directly support our work and make a real impact, for real people.

You can read about some the impact we’ve had in the last year in Palace for Life’s brand new annual brochure.

Thank you.
