Tottenham Hotspur will battle Brighton, Crystal Palace, and West Ham for teenage sensation, George Feeney, who looks set to leave Northern Irish side Glentoran.
After losing Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer, the topic of Tottenham’s attacking roster has been under scrutiny, with many expecting the North London side to sign a big-name striker to replace their former talisman.
As it stands, Ange Postecoglou has relied on Heung-min Son to lead the line rather than opting to sign any direct replacement for Kane.
While Tottenham are coping fairly well with their current attacking lineup, it seems the club is set up pretty nicely for the future, too.
With the likes of Alejo Veliz, Dane Scarlett, and Jamie Donley, Spurs are spoiled for choice when it comes to the next generation. But, the club may be looking to add even more firepower to its youth ranks.
That’s according to a report from BBC Sport, which claims the Lilywhites are keen on George Feeney, who has been impressing in Northern Ireland of late.
Apparently, Feeney is “poised for a move to the Premier League” and could have his pick of up to four clubs if and when he decides to make the switch. Brighton, West Ham, and Crystal Palace are also believed to be keen on the 15-year-old.
Feeney has already made six appearances for Glentoran and bagged his first goal for the club recently. He is the son of former Northern Ireland striker Warren Feeney, who made his name at Bournemouth and Luton as a player, and is now the manager of Glentoran.

It’s always impressive when teenagers are able to step up and compete in the men’s game. Sure, the Northern Irish League isn’t quite as competitive as the Premier League, but it’s still a good sign that Feeney has what it takes.
