But while Toffees fans may be dreaming of future success in the shiny new arena, The Athletic claim that the Reds are not bothered at all.
Instead, the Liverpool ‘hierarchy’ have reportedly told the outlet that Anfield’s own expansion means there’s nothing to worry about.
Furthermore, the Reds bosses are said to see Everton as little more than another relegation struggler.
It’s claimed that ‘little time’ is spent thinking of ways to outperform their city rivals. There’s reportedly a view that the ‘chaos’ surrounding the Blues has allowed this to ‘happen naturally.’
