Unfortunately: Everton handed Idrissa Gueye boost ahead of Liverpool clash

Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye appears to be back in time ahead of the Liverpool game after pulling out of the Bournemouth clash.
The 34-year-old made the bench for Senegal on 16 October as they faced off against Cameroon in a friendly which his side won 1-0.
Gueye then came off the bench in the 78th minute for Nampalys Mendy and that’s a sign he’s ready after pulling out from the game over the last Premier League weekend despite being named in the lineup.

The Senegalese has returned to fitness which is why he’s been included in the matchday squad for his country, but the real question is how fit.
Against a team like Liverpool, the Toffees are going to be running around a lot without the ball and it’s going to be an intense battle.
The advice would then be to perhaps keep Gueye on the bench as it would be risky to start him and even give him 60 minutes.
The likelier scenario will be to then bring him off the bench around the hour mark if Dyche feels he’s capable of doing what he wants at that point.
The manager has shown a lot of faith in the Senegal international and may look to get him in as soon as he possibly can.
It’s just a good thing that it wasn’t an extremely serious injury and it’s a boost for Dyche who will be thrilled he’s fit.
