The Chicago Bulls signed Quenton Jackson and Max Heidegger. With NBA training camp set to begin around the league next month, plenty of trades are likely to happen over the next four weeks.
The Chicago Bulls announced the signing of two new players on Friday (h/t HoopsRumors).
Via the Chicago Bulls: “Roster update: We signed guards Quenton Jackson and Max Heidegger to Exhibit-10 contracts.”
Jackson originally went undrafted out of Texas A&M in the 2022 NBA Draft.
He spent his rookie season with the Washington Wizards and averaged 6.2 points and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field in nine games. The 24-year-old also played in the G-League and averaged 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 29 regular season games. appeared in 15 Showcase Cup games and two G League playoff games).
Meanwhile, Heidegger left UC Santa Barbara in 2020.
He has yet to make his NBA debut and is coming off a year in which he averaged 9.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 16 league games for Cazoo Baskonia. (he also appeared in 12 tournament games).
As for the Bulls, they are coming off a year in which they were 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 40-42 record.
In the first game of the tournament, they defeated the Toronto Raptors, but in the second they lost to the Miami Heat.
