"Celtics vs. Blazers: The Intricate Dance for Jrue Holiday - A Complicated Trade Tale Unfolds!"

The deal between the Celtics and the Blazers for Jrue Holiday is getting complicated
The Boston Celtics are reportedly in the mix for Jrue Holiday, as Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe first reported on his X account on Sept. 27. The Athletic’s John Hollinger explained why a holiday trade with the Celtics is possible, but also why it’s difficult. calling it a “bunny plate”.
“Celtics can get Holiday in the salary cap, but it’s hard,” Hollinger wrote on Sept. 28. “Malcolm Brogdon would be included, but he will make $22 million in 2025-26, which is $22 million more than the Blazers want to get back. Also, Boston’s other signee in the deal must be either Robert Williams or Al Horford, adding to the frontcourt depth of the celtics … unless they hit Brogdon, Payton Pritchard, Luke Kornet, Sam Hauser, Jordan Walsh and signed them.and traded Blake Griffin instead.Six for one. Wow.”
Hollinger also added why the Trail Blazers might be hesitant to trade Holiday to the Celtics knowing the assets they’ll be getting.
“Portland’s problem is that Boston is good and should be around for many more years with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown still in their 20s. The Blazers picks will almost certainly be in the 20s. Ditto for the Warriors pick The number almost doesn’t matter because what are the odds of it being a lottery-level pick?
The Celtics may not have high-end assets to offer, but with the Trail Blazers having every intention of trading Holiday ASAP, they may not have better options than other suitors. Celtics teams interested in Jrue Holiday: announcement
According to Anthony Chiang and Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Celtics are one of several teams interested in signing Holiday.
“League sources told the Miami Herald on Thursday that the [Miami] Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers are among the desired destinations for the holiday,” Chiang and Jackson wrote on 28 from September . .
What all these teams have in common is that they are all competing for a title, although some are in better shape than others without Ferio. However, bringing Holiday into their ranks would greatly help their playoff chances.
The Celtics are not expected Holidays: Insider
While there is some mutual interest between the Celtics and Holiday, MassLive’s Brian Robb reported that it’s more likely the Celtics will lose the bidding war for the two-time star. – Several reports have linked the Celtics as likely bids for the defensive card. But multiple league sources told MassLive they don’t expect Boston to come out on top in the rivalry between the two conferences, Robb wrote on Sept. 28.
Despite the interest, the Celtics aren’t
desperate to build their roster right now.
Their guard rotation is Derrick White,
Malcolm Brogdon and Payton Pritchard,
which is pretty solid, even if Holiday gives
them an upgrade. Still, the Celtics have to
wonder how worried they should be if
Holiday ends up at the hands of the Heat or
Sixers. Matt John covers the Philadelphia
