Liverpool return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when West Ham United make the trip to Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to build on their strong start to the season, which has seen the Reds win four out of their five fixtures and only drop points away at Chelsea.
Sunday’s opponents, West Ham, have also begun the campaign in promising fashion and have only been beaten by Manchester City in the top-flight. Adapting well to the departure of Declan Rice, David Moyes has diligently rebuilt his team to spark hopes of a strong year for the club.
Michail Antonio has seemingly attempted to add an extra bit of spice to this weekend’s showdown after his recent comments on Mohamed Salah and where the Reds will finish this season, though anyone hoping to watch this game play out on the television will be left disappointed.

Liverpool’s home shirt for the 2023/2024 campaign pays homage to Bill Shankly and the legendary Reds manager’s final season in charge at Anfield. The Nike shirt features a bright red design with a bold white contrast on the colour and cuffs.
The north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, which has the same kick-off time as Liverpool versus West Ham of 2pm, has been selected for TV coverage on Sky Sports for obvious reasons. The two clubs have both hit the ground running, with Spurs surprising many due to how they have performed under Ange Postecoglou.
Sheffield United versus Newcastle United, meanwhile, has been awarded the 4:30pm start time and will be the late game shown on Sky. As a result, the other two 2pm kick-offs alongside Liverpool (Brighton vs Bournemouth, Chelsea vs Aston Villa-) have also been overlooked for coverage.
The only game being broadcasted by TNT Sports, formerly known as BT Sport, is Burnley’s meeting with Manchester United on Saturday evening.
