“He wanted…”: Former Premier League manager drops bombshell about Harry Kane

A former Premier League manager has dropped a bombshell about Harry Kane. Things could have been so different.
Harry Kane, as all Spurs fans will be very aware of, left the club this summer in what was heartbreak for many. After 19 long years at the club, Kane decided to finally move on – with Bayern Munich being his preferred destination.
This wasn’t the worst-case scenario for Spurs fans. At least in Germany, he can’t come back to haunt the North London club. If he’d have gone to a Premier League rival, the move could’ve been near unbearable.
But allegedly this did nearly happen, not this season – but back in 2021, as one former Premier League manager has revealed.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drops Harry Kane bombshell
It was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who revealed some telling news about England’s captain today. In an exclusive interview with Andy Mitten for The Athletic – the Norwegian revealed that just after Covid (around 2021) he wanted Kane at Old Trafford. It appeared the feeling was mutual.

“I would have signed Kane every day of the week and my understanding was that he wanted to come,” Solskjaer began. “But the club didn’t have the budget with the financial constraints of COVID-19.”
How different things could have been? If Kane had become a United player at that time, it’s crazy to think about the position they may be in.
Kane is a player, as Spurs fans know, that can transform a side. With him leading the line, who knows, maybe it wouldn’t be the blue side of Manchester that is so dominant in England’s top flight at the moment.
