Fabrizio Romano details Liverpool’s stance on signing ‘unbelievable’ player

Fabrizio Romano has detailed that Liverpool are yet to make any real progress in signing West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, the transfer guru revealed that the Reds are just scouting the England international as of now amid reports that Liverpool are interested in Bowen.
The 26-year-old in recent weeks has been linked with a move to Anfield with Bowen being lined up as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, who could head to Saudi Arabia in 2024.
Lauded by Jurgen Klopp as an ‘unbelievable’ player, Bowen would be quite the signing for Liverpool. Yet progress on an actual transfer is yet to reach any meaningful stage.
Romano said: “Liverpool have been linked with Jarrod Bowen as they could face Saudi interest in Mohamed Salah again, but at the moment it’s very quiet, really.

“There’s nothing concrete yet, just normal scouting activity but it’s something that top clubs always do; not only Liverpool. There’s nothing concrete yet with Bowen at this stage or any other player.”
Liverpool could accelerate Bowen talks in the coming weeks
Liverpool Bowen
With the summer transfer window closing just over two weeks ago, talk of Liverpool making a move for Bowen feels redundant given how far away January is.
Yet that doesn’t mean that the groundwork can’t be put in now, and Liverpool might do just that if they believe Salah will be leaving Anfield for the Middle East next year.
Indeed, Bowen would be an excellent signing for Liverpool and an attacker who could be a great replacement for Salah, and putting in work early might be key in getting a transfer done.
