Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie has now been full of praise for teammate Yves Bissouma who is stealing the show in training.

Udogie was speaking to The Athletic in a long interview and revealed just how good Bissouma has been behind the scenes at Tottenham.

The defender said he’s been impressed with Bissouma from day one at Spurs, even if he does always lose in training games.

Udogie said: “You can’t take the ball off him.

“The confidence, the quality in driving the ball. The passes, he’s one of the top, top players.

“He impressed me from the first day.

“Though he always loses in training games. I don’t know why. Romero’s team always wins.”

And although Udogie has now declared himself ready, Ange Postecoglou will be without his £25m midfielder on Sunday.

Bissouma is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, and he is one of three changes that Postecoglou could make to his XI.

Tottenham will miss Bissouma on Sunday, but Udogie’s return will be a big boost, a 20-year-old that is already crucial to this Postecoglou project.
