Glenn Murray has praised the impact that Ange Postecoglou has made at Tottenham but predicted that the Lilywhites might get punished when they come up against the best sides in the Premier League.
Postecoglou has managed to get his ideas across to the squad very quickly, with Tottenham now looking a completely different side to the one that was content to play on the counter-attack under Antonio Conte.

Even though they have lost their record goal-scorer in Harry Kane, they have had no issues finding the back of the net, having scored 11 goals in their first four league games.
As one has come to expect from Postecoglou’s sides, Spurs are operating with quite a high defensive line and, on occasions, have looked susceptible to long balls played in behind.
The former Brighton striker told Optus Sport: “Angeball I think it will be up and down. At the minute it’s plain sailing, but I think there will be bad times.
“They’re wide open at the back. Whether they will get punished when they come across the bigger teams, who knows, but sit back and enjoy it.”
Murray praised Son Heung-min and James Maddison and admitted that the current Spurs side is much closer to what Tottenham have historically stood for.
The 39-year-old added: “I fully expect Son to hit 20-25 goals this season without doubt. But for me, I look at Spurs and it’s just a breath of fresh air. I think this group, and Ange in particular, is a representation of Tottenham.
“They’ve always had mavericks in their team…they’ve always warmed to entertainers and James Maddison in the middle is just making them tick. He looks happy that he’s at a big football club and he is ultimately making them tick.”

Maddison just looks like someone who was born to play for Tottenham. The last player I remember who settled in so seamlessly and won over the fan base so quickly was Rafael van der Vaart following his deadline-day switch from Real Madrid 13 years ago.
