‘World class’ forward is being forced to train alone after claims Tottenham are pushing to sign him

Tottenham Hotspur have now landed in Japan to really kick start their pre-season tour as they begin their tour of Asia.

Spurs have had no issues in offloading players over recent weeks with the latest departure seeing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leave for Marseille.

There are now only a few players remaining at Tottenham who could still depart with the likes of Richarlison receiving interest from Saudi Arabia.

But the Lilywhites may have just been handed a boost in their pursuit of one of their targets this summer after he has been forced to train alone.

Forward players are being eyed by Spurs to bolster their attack this summer with a number of players believed to be on the radar.

Players like Eberechi Eze are believed to be of interest to Tottenham this summer alongside Pedro Neto.

Spurs find themselves in a position where their transfer window could change completely if a player like Richarlison was to leave.

And the Lilywhites continue to be linked with some quality names like Federico Chiesa who Spurs are believed to have begun their pursuit of this summer.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have now seen Chiesa return to training following his delayed summer break due to the Euros.

However, the Italy international will not be joining up with the Juventus squad – who are currently in Germany – and will instead train alone.

It has been suggested the 26-year-old is going to be allowed time to consider his future with the belief he is not in the plans of the new Juventus manager, Thiago Motta.

With just one-year remaining on his current deal, Juventus have not offered Chiesa a new deal.

Tottenham could land a ‘world-class’ bargain in Federico Chiesa

Chiesa is a player who has been hailed as ‘world-class‘ during his time with the Old Lady and has racked up vast experience in Turin.

This is a player with six goals in the Champions League and numerous pieces of silverware – including the European Championship – to his name at the age of 26.

The only potential issue surrounding this deal would perhaps be the player’s wages given he would be arriving from one of the top clubs in Europe.

However, it has been suggested Spurs have already prepared a deal which would see Chiesa earn just under £100k-per-week.

If this was to be the case, it would seem like Tottenham could land a real bargain.
