Jamie Carragher stunned by what he saw Darwin Nunez did today vs Luton Town

Jamie Carragher couldn’t get over Darwin Nunez’s second-half miss for Liverpool in their 1-1 draw to Luton Town.
Speaking on Sky Sports, the former Anfield star was shocked by how Nunez missed such a good chance to put Liverpool ahead, with the striker missing the target with a close-range effort.
Carragher said: “There’s so much to like about Nunez, but at times, you can’t defend him. It’s a poor header from Salah and a great opportunity for him [Nunez], that’s unbelievable.”
With Nunez enjoying his best form yet for Liverpool, seeing the 24-year-old attacker return to his old ways of missing easy chances was hard to see for supporters.
Although the Reds managed to escape Kenilworth Road with a point, Nunez’s misfortunes in front of goal are sure to become another source of debate amongst and fans and pundits this week.
Indeed, the striker knows he should have done better against Luton, and Nunez could have been key in Liverpool securing three huge points in the Premier League title race.

Nunez will look back at Luton as a missed opportunity to add to his personal tally as well as lost points for Liverpool in their bid to fully challenge for the title.
Yet the attacker knows he can’t change the past, and moving on from this performance will be key if Nunez is to return with a bang this Thursday against Toulouse.
The upcoming run of games for Liverpool will be key, and Nunez will want to be back to his best in time for the showpiece event against Manchester City at the end of this month.
