West Ham United ace Nayef Aguerd sends four-word message to Hakim Ziyech after Galatasaray transfer
West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd has sent a four-word message to Hakim Ziyech after he completed a transfer to Galatasaray.
The winger has made a season-long loan switch to the Turkish club from Chelsea, as per the official Blues website (19 August).
Chelsea added that there is an obligation to make the move permanent for the 30-year-old, who joined the Stamford Bridge club from Ajax in 2020.
Ziyech has had a somewhat difficult time at Chelsea since his move from Ajax, with the winger failing to land a regular spot in the team over recent years.
The winger has over 100 appearances for the West London outfit, but will perhaps be disappointed to have netted just 14 goals in that time.
The Moroccan international did, however, win the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup during his spell at the club.
He has now been given a chance to start anew in Turkey, with plenty of players wishing him all the best on the loan move.
Among those was his international teammate Aguerd, who has shared the pitch with him for Morocco on several occasions.
The duo both played starring roles as the African nation went on a memorable run in the 2022 World Cup, with Morocco reaching the semi-finals of the competition in Qatar.
