Report: Tottenham receive a ‘new offer’ for Tanguy Ndombele

Takvim have now revealed that Galatasaray have stepped up their pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele and are keen to get a deal for the Frenchman over the line very quickly.

Over the last couple of days, multiple outlets have reported that Ange Postecoglou has not been impressed with Ndombele’s attitude and that the North London club are now ready to offload the midfielder (The Sun).

We recently relayed a report from Foot Mercato, which claimed that both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce had launched €10m (£8.6m) offers for the 26-year-old but the player was not overly keen on a switch to Turkey.

New offer from Galatasaray for Tanguy Ndombele

If Takvim’s latest update is to be believed, Galatasaray have now submitted a ‘new offer’ for the Tottenham man.

The publication states that the Istanbul club have now ‘accelerated contacts’ with Spurs and they hope to have the transfer finalised ‘as soon as possible’.

This is because the club’s manager Okan Buruk has told those above him that he needs a new midfielder quickly, which is why the Turkish side have ‘updated their previous offer’ for Ndombele.

The outlet does not specify how much Galatasaray have offered for the former Lyon man’s services.

It is unclear if Ndombele would want to move to the Turkish Super Lig. I suspect that the Frenchman and his entourage will hold out for potential offers from Serie A or Ligue 1 over the next couple of weeks.
