‘Exquisite’: Michael Owen says no-one this season will match what Liverpool player did v Chelsea

That just goes to show how high he has set the bar for himself, as Owen was impressed by his latest showing.
“It was a very good goal, from back to front,” said Owen. “MacAllister is playing the deeper role in that midfield.
“But it was his ball that was sprayed out to Mo Salah. A lovely touch on the right foot of Salah, and then he plays this quite exquisite pass. This is a perfect angle of it. You won’t see a better pass this season.”

These are just some of the top scorers after Haaland’s record-breaking 2022/23 campaign, which begs the question, who will challenge him now?
Well, one man that can hit those high 30 numbers is Salah, so whilst Kane is no longer in the building, the Treble-winning Manchester City better watch out for the Egyptian king.
