Crystal Palace offers Michael Olise a new contract
The possibility of Michael Olise leaving has seemed increasingly likely as Chelsea shows strong interest in signing him this summer.
Reports have indicated that Olise wouldn’t force a move but would consider the right opportunity. Now, Palace is actively trying to keep him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Eagles have offered Olise, who earns £100k-a-week, a new contract in an attempt to retain him beyond this summer.
Both players were crucial to the Eagles’ 2023/24 season, but injuries hindered their potential standout seasons.
Due to their impressive performances, there has been significant interest in them. In an effort to prevent an exit, Palace has extended a new contract to one of the duo to stay at Selhurst Park.

The new contract for Olise includes a higher salary and an improved release clause for summer 2025.
However, despite this offer, Chelsea remains confident, leaving Olise with the decision to either commit to Palace for another summer or move on.
Olise must repeat his summer 2023 decision
With a new offer from Palace on the table, Olise finds himself in a similar position as last summer, with Chelsea once again attempting to sign him.
Similar to the summer of 2023, Olise should turn down a move to Stamford Bridge and stay with Palace, given Chelsea’s current recruitment issues.
Remaining at Palace for another season would allow Olise to play in a team that looks strong under Oliver Glasner and potentially secure European football for the Eagles.
Olise is too talented to settle for a transfer to Chelsea. With fewer injuries, he could secure a move to one of Europe’s top clubs next season instead.
