Everton supporters ‘unbelievable’ response helps Wolves fund new Premier League protest
Official Wolves Fans have praised Everton supporters for their “unbelievable” support in helping them pay for a banner in another protest against the Premier League.
The Wolves fan group have been preparing a protest against England’s top-flight league following a recent string of poor VAR decisions that have repeatedly gone against Gary O’Neil’s side, with a £300 banner being one method of voicing their frustration.
Donations were required to help the supporters create the protest which shows clowns in the VAR Room with the phrase “incompetent clowns” underneath it and Everton supporters have been “unbelievable” when donating to the cause.

Writing on the Offical Wolves Fans Twitter page (9 December) they said: “The response from Everton fans has been unbelievable, loads of donations and not one negative response. Appreciate you all.”
Incompetent clowns
In very different ways, Everton and Wolves have both been victims of the Premier League’s incompetence so far this season. O’Neil’s side has faced problems on the playing field, while Sean Dyche’s outfit has been punished unfairly off the pitch.
So far the Toffees have recovered from their 10-point deduction excellently to climb back out of the relegation zone and move towards Premier League safety once again, but that won’t stop supporters from voicing their frustrations towards the league’s higher-ups.
No matter what happens to Dyche’s side come the end of the campaign, they believe they have been unfairly punished by the Premier League for their profit and sustainability breach and the supporters will find any way to represent their side of the case.
It is safe to say that the Everton supporter base is united behind the Toffees and Dyche this season as they fight for their place in the Premier League. The Toffees will do everything they can to fight against what they believe is an injustice, no matter whether that is through a protest at Goodison or Molineux.
