‘WHEN IT’S CONFIRMED’: JOSE ENRIQUE CAN’T BELIEVE LIVERPOOL AND KHEPHREN THURAM CLAIMS
Jose Enrique has stated that he will only believe it ‘when it’s confirmed’ amid claims that Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Khephren Thuram from Nice.
The 22-year-old is currently on France duty with the U21s, who are competing in the European Championships, with Enrique previously critical that the Reds weren’t pushing to sign the midfielder before he headed to Georgia and Romania.
But when the former Liverpool left-back read that Khephren Thuram is close to making a switch to Anfield, he issued this pretty simple response, as he posted in the comments section of LiverpoolGoals Instagram post.
“When it’s confirmed, I will believe it,” wrote Enrique added with a laughing emoji.

More needed after Mac Allister
It’s pretty clear that Alexis Mac Allister isn’t enough to fix Jurgen Klopp’s problems in the middle of the park, especially after three players headed for the exit door this summer.
Whilst the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United splash the cash for fun, FSG are more reserved, in that regard.
But surely with the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner off the wage bill, then those extra few millions can be spent.
At the end of the day, Klopp deserves it and he has earned the right for the boat to be pushed out in the transfer market.
A player like Thuram, who is more like a box-to-box number eight, certainly fits the bill of what Klopp is looking for, with European expert Julien Laurens labelling him as a ‘technically gifted player’ recently.
Not only that, whilst the like of Declan Rice might be going for stupid amounts of money, that won’t be the case with Thuram because the Merseyside club are dealing with a top-half Ligue 1 team.
